Dulux is one of New Zealand's leading paint companies.

They required design, masthead and name for their new quarterly publication for painters, architects and designers, with profiled Dulux projects, events and homes. The name Surface was chosen and alludes to the painting of a surface and the newsletter bringing articles to the surface for people to read. The masthead colour changes each quarter as do the feature colours that can be seen through the die-cuts on each page.
